Expert installation of dental chairs, suction plants, air compressors and electrical systems β with full compliance documentation from day one.
We visit before any equipment arrives β confirming floor loading, access routes, utility positions and compliance requirements.
Commissioning certs, EIC, PSSR Written Scheme, air quality cert, asset register entry and operator training sign-off.
Belmont, Sirona, Planmeca, A-dec, Dentsply, Anthos, Cattani, Durr, Bambi and all other manufacturers.
Installing dental equipment in a clinical environment demands more than technical competence. Every installation must satisfy HTM 01-05, CQC Regulation 15, PSSR 2000 (for pressure vessels), BS 7671 electrical standards and manufacturer commissioning requirements β all at once.
Dentrician manages the entire process: pre-installation survey, equipment positioning, utility connections, commissioning, compliance testing and clinical handover with operator training. You receive a full installation pack including commissioning certificates, asset register entries and service documentation β ready for your CQC inspection file from the very first day.
Coordinated compressed air, suction, water, drainage and electrical β all to specification, on time.
installation_hero_imageAdmin β Settings β ImagesA dental chair installation is far more than placing a chair in a room. Each unit requires dedicated compressed air connection (minimum 50 l/min at 5 bar per chair), suction connection, water supply and drainage, and a properly specified electrical circuit with appropriate RCD protection.
We carry out a pre-installation room survey to confirm floor loading, access routes, service stub positions and wall strength before any equipment arrives on site. On installation day, our engineers position and level the unit, make all utility connections, commission all functions and carry out a full system check before handover.
Brands installed: Belmont, Sirona, Planmeca, A-dec, Dentsply, Anthos, Chiromega and all other leading manufacturers.
ISO 8573 Class 0 certification and PSSR 2000 compliance from installation day.
process_hero_imageSelecting and installing the right compressor is critical. We size the system to your surgery count β a minimum of 50 l/min at 5 bar per active chair β and add 20-30% headroom capacity for peak demand.
All compressors we install are oil-free and comply with HTM 02-01 and ISO 8573-1 Class 0 air quality standards. We install the compressor, pipework distribution system, desiccant dryers, breathing air and bacterial filters, and an internally coated air receiver. A Written Scheme of Examination (PSSR 2000) is issued at commissioning.
| Surgeries | Min. Capacity | Recommended | Receiver |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 chair | 50 l/min at 5 bar | 80 l/min | 25β50 L |
| 2 chairs | 100 l/min | 150 l/min | 50β90 L |
| 3β4 chairs | 200 l/min | 280 l/min | 100β150 L |
| 5+ chairs | Custom | Dual-pump | 200+ L |
Sufficient negative pressure across all surgeries simultaneously, with compliant pipework and amalgam separation.
Dental suction systems must deliver sufficient negative pressure across all surgeries simultaneously. We design and install wet and dry suction plants sized to your practice, including amalgam separators compliant with Environment Agency regulations, all pipework (using appropriate materials β no copper in wet vacuum systems), isolation valves and service points.
A full flow rate test is carried out at commissioning and results are documented in your installation file.
care_hero_imageBS 7671 18th Edition, with appropriate RCD protection and earth bonding on all clinical equipment.
compliance_hero_imageDental surgery electrical installations must be designed to BS 7671 18th Edition and must include appropriate RCD protection, earth bonding to all clinical equipment, and isolation facilities for each surgery. We design, install and certify all wiring, sockets and clinical power distribution.
On completion, an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) is issued covering all new circuits, together with a Schedule of Test Results. This feeds directly into your CQC compliance file.
Our engineers assess every system in your surgery and give you a clear picture of what needs attention β no pressure, no commitment.
